| The
new addition to the Colorado Mountain College Edwards Campus is
a 36,005 s.f. and will house a new student center, teaching
kitchen for the new Sustainable Culinary Program, lecture hall, fire
fighting and EMS/EMT training facility, 10
general classrooms, career center, virtual library, and faculty
offices. Along with the new addition, existing dance studio and art
studio were renovated and expanded. An outdoor student area was
incorporated into the new addition which includes seating area, stage
area, and firepit. |

The college needed several
specialty classrooms to simulate real life conditions/situations
including Emergency Medical Technician training, Certified Nurses
Assistant/Medical Assistant training, and fire fighter training.
Built into the side of the building is the interior of a real ambulance
which will help strudents get actual experience working inside the
confined area of an ambulance.![]() |
