Proposed East Elevation Addition The proposed addition  and alterations to the East elevation is shown in this preliminary sketch. The work includes the addition of a new porch, the addition of a stone fireplace, and new windows.
The new shed roof element added to the South elevation gives the great room extended volume and additional South facing windows. The new windows offer views of Mount Otis in the Sawatch Range. Proposed South Elevation
Proposed West Elevation A screened in porch is added to the West elevation to enjoy the sites and sounds of the adjacent creek.
This sketch shows the addition of the garage with the master suite above. Proposed North Elevation

East Elevation The renovation is complete. The new exterior materials consist of shingles and stone. This photo shows the new shed dormers cut into the existing garage roof for the roof space study and guest bed/bath.
The addition was primarily over the garage and the garage itself, however the entire house got a face lift and new materials. South Elevation
New Mud Room Connection With this new mud room addition the homeowner can walk from the main house to the garage without having to go outside. Also included in this addition is a new laundry room.

The existing interior spaces were also remodeled. The floor plan has been revised to accommodate the client's needs. The images above and to the left, show the living room and the renovated stairs to the loft space.

Inside Mud Room
The addition over the garage was split into a guest suite and study. Using half the additional space, this study has plenty of sitting area as well as work area.
The opposite half of the addition over the garage is a spacious master suite.
The sitting area in this master suite walks out to a new deck that overlooks the river.
The master suite also includes a gas fireplace.
In the master bath, the tub deck leads into the shower as a seat. Both shower and tub overlook the river through windows in the shed dormer.
